Safety & Use Guidelines

Helpful safety information for inflatable rentals, public events, private parties, supervision, weather, power, and proper equipment use.

At Delivering Fun Party Rentals, safety is part of every rental. Our goal is to provide clean, fun, properly set up rental equipment while helping customers, event organizers, and guests understand how to use each item safely.

These safety and use guidelines apply to residential, private, school, church, nonprofit, community, and public events. Some rental items may have additional rules listed on the equipment, safety panel, quote, invoice, rental agreement, or instructions provided at delivery.

Important: If there is ever a concern with safety, weather, power, supervision, anchoring, deflation, guest behavior, or equipment condition, stop use immediately and contact Delivering Fun Party Rentals.

Here for an Event Today?

Please follow the posted rules at each inflatable or activity area. Adult supervision is required, participants should be grouped by age and size when possible, and all guests must follow staff, event volunteer, or Delivering Fun Party Rentals instructions.

Stop use immediately if there is unsafe behavior, high wind, lightning, heavy rain, deflation, power loss, equipment movement, or any concern with the equipment.

Customer / Renter Responsibility

The customer, renter, event organizer, or approved on-site contact is responsible for:

  • Providing a safe, clear, level setup area.
  • Making sure the setup location is approved by the property owner, venue, park, HOA, school, church, or event organizer when required.
  • Providing proper adult supervision at all times.
  • Enforcing posted rules, safety panels, and instructions provided by Delivering Fun Party Rentals.
  • Keeping participants within posted rider, height, weight, age, and occupancy limits.
  • Stopping use during unsafe weather, unsafe behavior, power loss, equipment concerns, or other unsafe conditions.
  • Preventing unauthorized or unsupervised use.
  • Contacting Delivering Fun Party Rentals immediately if there are questions or concerns.

Delivering Fun Party Rentals provides delivery, setup, takedown, equipment instructions, and safety guidance. Event staffing or ride attendants are only included when specifically arranged in advance.

Public Events, Schools, Parks, Churches & Community Events

For public or community events, the event organizer or renter is responsible for guest flow, supervision, crowd control, and rule enforcement unless staffed operation has been arranged with Delivering Fun Party Rentals in writing.

Public event organizers should make sure:

  • A responsible adult or approved event volunteer is assigned to each inflatable or activity area.
  • Posted rules are visible to guests before participation.
  • Participants are grouped by age and size when possible.
  • Guests enter and exit in an orderly way.
  • The inflatable or activity is stopped if it becomes overcrowded or unsafe.
  • Event staff or volunteers know how to contact Delivering Fun Party Rentals if help is needed.
  • Emergency access is kept clear.

Delivering Fun Party Rentals may provide posted rules, QR codes, safety guidance, and equipment-specific instructions. Guest waiver forms may be provided upon request, but they are not automatically required unless required by the venue, event organizer, permit holder, or insurance carrier.

Delivering Fun Party Rentals may decline setup, pause use, require early pickup, or cancel use of rental equipment if weather or site conditions are unsafe.

Power and Blower Safety

Inflatables require continuous power from the blower while in use.

  • Do not unplug the blower.
  • Do not move the blower.
  • Do not cover the blower intake.
  • Keep cords, plugs, and blowers away from water when possible.
  • Keep guests away from blowers, cords, stakes, sandbags, and power connections.
  • Do not add other equipment to the same outlet or circuit unless approved.
  • Do not use customer-provided extension cords unless approved by Delivering Fun Party Rentals.
  • Do not operate the inflatable if power is unstable or the blower is not running properly.

If the inflatable begins to deflate:

  1. Stop use immediately.
  2. Have all participants exit calmly.
  3. Check whether the blower is still running.
  4. Check that the blower tube is attached and not twisted.
  5. Check whether the plug, outlet, GFCI, or breaker has tripped.
  6. Contact Delivering Fun Party Rentals before resuming use if there is any concern.

Anchoring and Equipment Movement

Delivering Fun Party Rentals will anchor or secure rental equipment based on the setup surface, equipment type, weather, and event conditions.

  • Remove stakes, sandbags, straps, cones, or barriers.
  • Adjust blower tubes, extension cords, or anchoring points.
  • Relocate equipment to another area.
  • Add tarps, covers, decorations, signage, or attachments to the inflatable unless approved.

If something appears loose, shifted, disconnected, or unsafe, stop use and contact Delivering Fun Party Rentals.

When overnight rental is approved, the renter is responsible for keeping the equipment secure and preventing unauthorized use.

When not in use:

  • Stop all participation.
  • Turn off equipment only as instructed.
  • Keep the area secure.
  • Do not allow unsupervised use.
  • Protect blowers and electrical equipment as instructed.
  • Follow any overnight instructions provided at delivery or in the rental agreement.

Inflatables should not be used overnight, after dark, or while unattended unless specifically approved and properly supervised.
